Stations & Equipment

 

 

 

 

 

 

 The Schriever station; located at 1529 
West Park Ave (just south of the 
Schriever overpass) was built in 1999. 
This station houses two pumpers, a 
heavy rescue/salvage and a reserve 
pumper

 

 

The Gray station is located at 3120 
West Park Ave. (the corner of West Park
Ave. & Hwy 316)

The station was originally built in 1985
and housed one pumper. In 2005 a 
second bay was added and the station
now houses a pumper and a ladder truck.

 

                                  

 

The Hwy 311 station is located at 1988
Hwy 311 (just south of Hwy 90)
This station was built in 2000 and 
houses one pumper and the department's 
special Rescue truck

 

 

 

 

Schriever Pumper 1; built in 1987 by W.S.
 Darley & Company, has a 1250 gallon 
per minute three stage pump, a 25 
gallon foam cell system and an 800
gallon water tank.

             This unit is currently housed at the 
Hwy 311 station.

 

 

Schriever Pumper 2; built in 1972 by W.S.
Darley & Company, has a 750 gallon per
minute Darley three stage pump, a 25 
gallon foam cell system and a 750 gallon
water tank.

This unit is currently housed at Schriever
station as a reserve pumper.

 

Schriever Pumper 3; built in 1999 by 
5 Alarm Fire Apparatus, Inc, has a 1000
gallon per minute Darley three stage 
pump with a 1500 gallon water tank.

This unit is currently housed at Schriever
station.

 

 

Schriever Pumper 4; built by W.S. Darley
in 1998, has a 1500 gallon per minute 
Darley three stage pump with a 1100
gallon water tank.

This unit is currently housed at Gray 
station

 

 

 

Schriever Ladder 5; rebuilt by 5 Alarm 
Fire Apparatus in 1998 has an 850 
gallon per minute pump. The ladder unit
has an 85 foot stick ladder and all 
necessary ground ladders.

This unit is currently housed at Gray 
station.

 

 

 

Schriever Pumper 6; built by 5 Alarm 
Fire Apparatus, Inc in 2004, has a 1500
gallon per minute three stage Darley 
pump with a 1200 gallon water tank.

This unit is currently housed at 
Schriever station.

 

 

Schriever Rescue-Salvage 1; built in 
1998 by Hackney, Inc, has two complete
sets of Amkus extrication tools, a 25 KW
generator, a 3 bottle cascade air
system and all required salvage equipment

This unit is currently housed at 
Schriever station.

 

Schriever Rescue 2; a special rescue
unit, was built by the firefighters to 
rescue vehicle accident victims when 
their vehicle goes off the elevated 
section of Hwy 90.

This unit is currently housed at the Hwy 
311 station.
